CSX provides customers a number of enhanced services. From TRANSFLO to Industrial Development to Service Start-up, our services are designed to help you get your product moving on rail. It's all part of our Ease of Doing Business Initiative, designed to make using rail easy and seamless. Some of the ways we do that include:
- Load Design
Our Load Engineering and Design Services (LEADS) team gives you expert help in proper load configurations. They work with you to design a loading pattern that meets your needs while maximizing the product shipped and minimizing any product damage. - TRANSFLO
TRANSFLO, a CSX Corp. subsidiary, provides logistics management services for customers.

Warehousing services are provided by CSX's Warehouse Services group. - Regional Development (site selection)
Our Regional Development team works with you to develop the right rail infrastructure. By working with contractors, builders and local governments, they can help you from conception to start-up including site selection, location analysis and engineering design.

Ship CSX is an interactive online tool designed to make shipping transactions quick and easy. Get prices, order cars, submit shipping instructions, track shipments and more. And it's all available through this website.

Our Service Start-up team is responsible for error-free, reliable business start-up services for customers new to rail or for existing customers expanding to new locations. They use a new business certification process that ensures that all required information is collected and disseminated so that all critical pre-movement activities are completed prior to shipment.
