Traditional Defined Benefit Formula
applies to you if you were:- Hired or rehired as a salaried employee prior to January 1, 2003.
- Promoted from a contract position to a non-contract position prior to January 1, 2003.
Cash Balance Formula
applies to you if you were:- Hired as a salaried employee after December 31, 2002
- Promoted from a contract position to a non-contract position after December 31, 2002 with no prior non-contract service
- Rehired to a non-contract position after December 31, 2002 with no prior non-contract service
